Health Impact
TBHQ has been linked to increased risk of cancer and a negative impact on the immune system. Negatively affects T-cells in the body in a way that promotes allergies to nuts, milk, eggs, wheat, and shellfish. Linked to an increase incidence of tumors in animal studies. Has also been shown to increase the severity of flu symptoms.
